Lake Chelan Valley Habitat for Humanity
518 E Woodin Ave   509-682-7088

Lake Chelan Habitat is happy to receive your clean, gently used items.

Donations are accepted Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm in the alley behind the Habitat Store.

Donation Policies:

Donations must be clean, intact, gently used or like new condition. It is very helpful if you sort through your goods in order to avoid bringing non-sellable and recyclable items. If something is donated unassembled, we would need assembly instructions and all parts.

Due to limited space and seasonality, we do have variability in the items we accept. Although we are unable to accept some items, we strive to be flexible and to work with you. If you have questions about what items we currently accept, please feel free to call the store at (509) 682-7088.

As a general rule we are always looking for the following items:

  • Clothing
  • Shoes
  • Purses
  • Toys
  • Linens
  • Furniture (except beds and bed frames)

Other items we may accept, depending on our current inventory (please call to check):

  • Sporting goods
  • Electronics
  • Flat Screen Tvs
  • Jewelry
  • Puzzles/games
  • Artwork
  • Household items
  • Tools

Unfortunately we are unable to accept:

  • Baby items (other than clothes)
  • Mattresses, box springs and bed frames
  • Magazines
  • Text books
  • Encyclopedias

  • Printers and fax machines
  • Hazardous Materials (Oil, flammable liquids, antifreeze, etc)
  • Liquids

If we cannot accept your item, please consider using alternative recycle options.

Habitat appreciates your donations and cooperation with a necessary donation policy.
